Devendran Madhushikhan brought pride to the land of Batticaloa and to St. Michael's College by swimming across the Palk Strait.

This feat was accomplished on 28 - 05 - 2023. Kudos to Devendran Madhusikan, a native of Batticaloa, President's Award-winning Scout, student of St. Michael's College, and his parents, school community, friends and relatives who supported him in his endeavours.It is also significant that this achievement was performed on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of St. Michael's College.
