Leo Clubs

  1. Leadership: The acronym LEO stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. Leo Clubs aim to develop leadership skills in their members by involving them in various community service projects.

  2. Service Projects: Leos participate in a wide range of service activities, including healthcare, education, environmental conservation, and support for the elderly and disabled. These projects help members develop a sense of responsibility and community spirit.

  3. Global Network: Leo Clubs are part of a global network with over 200,000 members in more than 150 countries. This provides members with opportunities to connect with peers from around the world and collaborate on international projects.

  4. Age Groups: There are two types of Leo Clubs:

    • Alpha Leo Clubs: For members aged 12 to 18.

    • Omega Leo Clubs: For members aged 18 to 30.

  5. Mentorship: Leo Clubs are sponsored by local Lions Clubs, which provide guidance and support. This mentorship helps Leos develop their skills and gain valuable experience.

  6. Events and Activities: Leos participate in various events, such as leadership conferences, training workshops, and social gatherings. These activities help members build friendships and enhance their personal and professional development.
